The Head and The Heart have revealed plans for a fall tour in support of their highly anticipated sophomore album, Let’s Be Still. The band will hit Massachusetts for a special two-night stand at Boston’s Royale on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. Tickets for each of the shows will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $25.

Let’s Be Still, which follows The Head and The Heart’s 2011 self-titled release, will hit stores on October 15. The album was recorded at Seattleā€™s Studio Litho with assistance from prior collaborator Shawn Simmons and later mixed by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol) in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

“There is a certain level of confidence gained from having such an amazing fan base,” said group member Jonathan Russell in a press release. “You start to trust yourself more. When we were busking, we were filling so much space to keep the listener from walking away. Now we are in a very different situation.” Group member Josiah Johnson added, “We wanted to write songs that felt bigger, and didn’t need to be so frantic. I think for the most part we wanted to record an album that sounds like the way we play now.”
