The Go! Team have revealed plans for a spring tour of the United States in support of their new album, Rolling Blackouts. The English indie rockers will team up with Massachusetts’ own Dom for a show at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Friday, April 15. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $16.

Rolling Blackouts, The Go! Team’s third studio effort and first since 207’s Proof of Youth, was released at the end of January. In an interview with BBC 6 Music earlier this year, The Go! Team’s principle songwriter Ian Parton described the album as their “most eclectic record we’ve done. It’s all over the shop”. In the same interview he hinted that it could be their last album too. “We don’t want to do a Jay-Z and say that and then three years later we’ll be, ‘Hey!’ again,” he said, “But it may well be… the last The Go! Team record. It might be the last year we’re touring, certainly, the band [in their current line-up].”

Worcester’s Dom, one of BMS’s “Eleven Local Artists to Watch in 2011”, just had their debut EP Sun Bronzed Greek Gods re-released by Astralwerks. The band broke through with their hit single “Living in America”, which won the 2010 Boston Music Award for Song of the Year.
