The Glitch Mob will soon return to the road to promote their brand new album Love Death Immortality. The trio of acclaimed electronica producers – Justin Boreta, Ed Ma (aka edIT) and Joshua Mayer (aka Ooah) – will kick off a spring trek next month and play Boston’s House of Blues on Wednesday, March 12. Tickets for the show, which will also feature Ana Sia and Penthouse Penthouse, are available through Live Nation for $20 and $35.

Love Death Immortality, The Glitch Mob’s second studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Drink the Sea, debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200 after its release earlier this month. The album’s featured vocal collaborators include Aja Volkman of Nico Vega, Metal Mother, Yaarrohs and Sister Crayon. The video for lead single “Can’t Kill Us” is streaming below.

“If our last album was introverted, then the new one is definitely extroverted,” said Boreta of Love Death Immortality.

For their upcoming tour, The Glitch Mob are promising fans a massive stage show. To do so, the trio have teamed up with Martin Phillips of Bionic League, who has previously worked on stage productions for the likes of Daft Punk, Kanye West, and Deadmau5. “We’re taking a more hands-on approach to the live show this time around,” said Ma. “The whole experience is going to be personally curated by us. We’re designing really cool video-interaction apps to integrate the experience, really letting the audience in on what we’re doing onstage.”

The Glitch Mob will kick off their upcoming tour in Maine with a show at the State Theatre in Portland on March 11.
