The Gaslight Anthem to play the House of Blues

After delivering an impressive show at the Middle East Downstairs last month as part of an intimate club tour, The Gaslight Anthem told the sold out crowd they would be back soon. This week, the band made that promise official by announcing plans for a fall tour that will stop at Boston’s House of Blues on Monday, November 26. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $26 and $36.

The Gaslight Anthem will be touring in support of their brand new album, Handwritten. The band’s fourth studio effort and first on Mercury Records, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and atop Billboard’s Alternative Albums and Rock Albums chart after its release last month. Recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Grammy Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam), Handwritten follows 2010’s American Slang. Fans can get a taste of the album by checking out the band’s official website, where it is streaming in full.
