Punk rockers The Gaslight Anthem have made plans for a tour in support of their forthcoming album, American Slang. After rocking the Lansdowne Street venue last fall, the band is set to return Boston’s House of Blues on Monday, August 2. American Slang, the New Jersey favorites’ third studio effort, is slated for release on June 15 on SideOneDummy Records. The album follows their critically acclaimed 2008 album, The ’59 Sound, and is once again produced by Ted Hutt. The first single and title track is now streaming on the band’s MySpace.

The Gaslight Anthem is comprised of Brian Fallon (vocals/rhythm guitar), Alex Rosamilia (guitar), Ben Horowitz (drums) and Alex Levine (bass).
