The Flaming Lips make summer plans for New England

In addition to a stop at the Nateva Music & Camping Festival in Maine this summer, The Flaming Lips will provide New England fans with a couple of other opportunities to see the band’s live performance.

The Flaming Lips will hit Rhode Island on Tuesday, July 6 for a show at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence. Tickets are currently on sale for the show, which will also feature Matt & Kim, through for for $35 and $42.50. The band will make their way to Western Massachusetts on Saturday, July 24 for a show at Holyoke’s Mountain Park. Tickets for the show, which will also feature, Fang Island, are now sale through for $37.50.

This weekend, The Flaming Lips will perform Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety with friends Stardeath and White Dwarfs. The band did the same set for the hometown crowd in Oklahoma City last New Years’ Eve. That performance was recorded and the band announced earlier this week that it will soon be sold in CD-format after its original digital-only release. The performance was recorded with help from Henry Rollins, Peaches, and Stardeath and the White Dwarfs.
