The Darkness have revealed plans for 2013 world tour in support of their new album, Hot Cakes. The English rockers will cross the pond and perform at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Saturday, January 19. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster for $30.

Released in August, Hot Cakes marks The Darkness’ first offering of new material since the band reunited in 2011. Produced by Nick Brine and band members Justin and Dan Hawkins, it debuted at #4 on the UK’s albums chart. In the United States, it reached #2 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums Chart. Hot Cakes, the band’s third studio effort, features singles “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” and “Everybody Have a Good Time”. For more on the album, check out the video below.

The Darkness were last in Boston this past February for a sold out show at the Paradise Rock Club. Best known in the United States for their 2003 smash hit “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”, the band broke up in 2006 and reunited with their original lineup to headline England’s Download Festival in 2011.
