The Dandy Warhols have released dates for a summer tour in support of their new album, This Machine. The veteran rockers from Oregon will make their way to Massachusetts and hit Boston’s Royale for a performance on Friday, June 1. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $25.

This Machine, The Dandy Warhols’ eighth studio album and follow-up to 2009’s The Dandy Warhols Are Sound, was released on April 24. Co-produced by the band and Jeremy Sherrer, the new album was mixed by Tchad Blake (The Black Keys, Pearl Jam). Singer Courtney Taylor-Taylor described the album in a press release as “stripped down, woody, and extremely guitar-centric”.

The frontman got some help writing “Autumn Carnival” from David J of Love and Rockets. “We’ve been told that it’s our gothiest,” Taylor-Taylor said of the album. “I thought it was our grungiest so I’m really hoping it’s a hit with goths who are… um, really outdoorsy?”

The album cover was done by Hickory Mertsching, a painter from the band’s hometown of Portland.
