Black Keys, Killers & Outkast top Alabama’s Hangout Fest

The Black Keys, The Killers, Outkast and Jack Johnson will headline this year’s Hangout Music Festival in Alabama. Now in its fifth year, the festival will return to Gulf Shores for three days from May 16 to 18.

Other notable acts set to perform in Alabama include Queens of the Stone Age, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, Wiz Khalifa, Zedd, Childish Gambino, Amos Lee, Conor Oberst, Tegan and Sara, Fitz and the Tantrums, Portugal The Man, Conor Oberst and STS9.

The Hangout Music Festival takes places across six stages along the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, which is located just few miles from the Florida border.

Three-day weekend passes for the festival are now on sale through the festival’s website for $229. A variety of VIP packages are also available. Single-day tickets are not available.

Festival organizers will also host a special pre-party concert on May 15 with Girl Talk. Tickets for the show, which will also feature more artists to be named later, will go on sale next month.
