The Avett Brothers have revealed plans for a summer tour. The North Carolina natives will make their way to Massachusetts and perform at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on Sunday, September 16. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $45, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

On the upcoming tour, the band is expected to preview material off their highly anticipated forthcoming seventh studio album. Though no official release date has been set for the yet-to-be-named album, more details are expected to be revealed in the coming months. The Avett Brothers recorded more than 20 songs last year in Asheville, North Carolina. Acclaimed producer Rick Rubin, with whom they partnered with for their 2009 breakthrough album, I and Love and You, returned to lead the project.

In 2010, The Avett Brothers release a live compilation, Live, Volume 3.

New England fans can catch The Avett Brothers when they perform in Bridgeport, Connecticut as part of the Gathering of the Vibes Festival on July 22.
