Ted Nugent has announced plans for a summertime tour that will include a stop in New Hampshire. The Motor City Madman will play the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Monday, August 15 as part of his 2011 “I Still Believe Tour”. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $26 to $45, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Though his last album of all new material was 2007’s Love Grenade, Nugent released a patriotic new single “I Still Believe” in March. “America is a target-rich environment for an independent man addicted to logic, truth and the American Way,” Nugent declared on his website. “‘I Still Believe’ throttles the animal spirit of rugged individualism in pure Motor City ultra high-energy rhythm and blues and rock and roll.” Fans who sign for the veteran rock’s mailing list can download the track for free, along with another new tune called “I Love My BBQ”.

Guitarist/Vocalist Derek St. Holmes will return to Nugent’s lineup for the upcoming tour. St. Holmes was part of Nugent’s project from 1974-78, and since has occasionally appeared onstage with him. He will join the current lineup of Nugent, bassist Greg Smith and drummer Mick Brown.
