Sugarland plot return to the Comcast Center

Sugarland have revealed plans to continue their “Incredible Machine” tour this year. The country favorites will return to the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Friday, May 20. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $26 and $50.75, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Sugarland will be joined by special guests Little Big Tow and Massachusetts native Matt Nathanson.

The duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are on the road in support of their latest album, The Incredible Machine. Released last October, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The two co-produced and co-wrote all the songs on the album, their fourth studio effort and followup to 2008’s Love on the Inside. The Incredible Machine has been powered by the success of hit singles “Stuck Like Glue” and “Little Miss”. Sugarland are the reigning Country Music Association Top Vocal Duo award winners and are up for two awards at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards including Top Vocal Duo of the Year and Video of the Year for “Stuck Like Glue”.

Last month, Sugarland toured Ireland and England for the first time. They filmed the whole experience and released a mini-documentary, which is streaming below/

Little Big Town continue to tour in support of 2010’s The Reason Why. Released last August, the group’s fourth studio effort debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #5 on the Billboard 200.

Nathanson, a native of Lexington, is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Modern Love. The album, his seventh studio effort, follows his best-selling 2007 album Some Mad Hope, which was powered by the success of the single “Come On Get Higher”. The new album won’t hit stores till June but fans can get a taste with lead singe “Faster”, which is available as a free download on Nathanson’s website.
