Street Dogs reveal plans for annual ‘Wreck The Halls’
Street Dogs have revealed plans for their annual hometown holiday celebration concert, “Wreck The Halls”. After several years at the Paradise Rock Club, the punk rock veterans will move the part over to Lansdowne Street for one night at the House of Blues on Saturday, December 21. Joining them will be fellow local favorites The Unseen, Stars and Stripes, and The Fenian Sons.
Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $18 and $35. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to New England Warrior, a 501(C) 3 charitable, non-profit organization that was established in 2006 to support our Troops and Veterans.
Earlier this year, Street Dogs released a pair of 3-song EPs, Crooked Drunk Sons and Rustbelt Nation (streaming below). The band recorded the new material with fellow Boston punk rock veteran Rick Barton during a brief break from touring last November at bassist Johnny Rioux’s home studio in Texas. The band are currently working on their sixth full-length release and first since 2010’s Street Dogs.
Street Dogs are comprised of McColgan, Rioux, lead guitarist Matt Pruitt, drummer Pete Sosa and new guitarist Lenny Lashley (of Darkbuster fame).
