Stone Sour have revealed plans to hit the road this spring in support of their double concept album, House of Gold & Bones. The hard rock favorites will hit Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Wednesday, April 3. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers With In This Moment and Hell or Highwater, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $32.50 and $42.50.

House of Gold & Bones, the band’s fourth studio release and follow-up to 2010’s Audio Secrecy, is being released in two parts. Part 1 debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 after its release in October. It features singles “Gone Sovereign” and “Absolute Zero”. Part 2 is scheduled to hit stores on April 9. The video for lead single “Do Me a Favor” is streaming below. The albums were recorded together at Sound Farm Studios just outside of the band’s native Des Moines, Iowa with producer David Bottrill (Tool, Muse) at the helm. House of Gold & Bones marks their first recordings without bass player Shawn Economaki, who left the band in 2012.

Along with the release of the two album, Stone Sour has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to expand the House of Gold & Bones story through a four-issue comic book series with illustration from Jason Shawn Alexander (Empty Zone, Batman, Spider-Man). The first of the series will hit stores on April 17.
