The hard rock favorites will hit Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Wednesday, January 22. Tickets for the concert, which will also feature openers Pop Evil and Stolen Babies, will go on sale Friday at noon through Live Nation for $29.50.

House of Gold & Bones – Part 2
, Stone Sour’s fifth studio effort was released in April. The album completes the two-part House of Gold & Bones concept album, the first album of which was released in October of 2012. Both were recorded simultaneously at Soundfarm Studios in Jamaica, Iowa. The video for “Do Me a Favor”, the lead single from House of Gold & Bones – Part 2, is streaming below.

On the upcoming trek, guitarist Jim Root will not participate due to commitments with his other band Skipknot. “Everyone involved is okay with the decision and our mutual friend Christian Martucci will be filling in on guitar,” the band said in a statement. “It was a difficult decision, but as the fans have wanted another Stone Sour tour and Jim had responsibilities to the writing process with Slipknot, we feel this is the best decision where everyone wins.”
