Steven Wilson to play Boston in April

Steven Wilson will hit Boston next month as he tours stateside in support of his latest solo album, The Raven that Refused to Sing (And Other Stories). The founder and frontman of Porcupine Tree will perform at the Berklee Performance Center on Saturday, April 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $27.50 to $45.00, are available through the venue’s box office and website.

Released last month, The Raven that Refused to Sing (And Other Stories) is Wilson’s third solo studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Grace for Drowning. Co-produced by Wilson and Alan Parsons, the album is based on a story of the supernatural. The video for the title track, which was produced, animated and co-directed by Jessica Cope and co-directed with additional animation by Simon Cartwright, is streaming below. The animated short film based on Wilson and Hajo Muller’s own short story for the track.

The Raven that Refused to Sing is available in variety of formats, including a limited edition 4-disc deluxe set (Blu-ray, DVD and 2CD) with a 128-page hardback book containing lyrics, short stories by Wilson, and haunting images and illustrations by Hajo Mueller.
