Steve Winwood has unveiled plans for a spring tour with special guests Michael Franti & Spearhead. The legendary English  rocker will conclude the stateside tour with a performance at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on Saturday, June 2. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $70, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Winwood, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 as a member of Traffic and named #33 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Singers of All Time” in 2008, released his last album in 2008 with Nine Lives. The record featured special guests Eric Clapton on lead single “Dirty City”. Winwood also added an honorary doctorate from Boston’s Berklee College of Music to his repertoire in 2008.

Michael Franti & Spearhead, who were last in town as part of the 2011 Life is good festival, continue to tour in support of 2010’s The Sound of Sunshine.
