Walter Becker and Donald Fagen have announced that Steely Dan will hit the road again this summer. The jazz-rock veterans will bring their “Mood Swings: 8 Miles To Pancake Day” tour to over four dozen stops throughout North America, including Boston. Steely Dan will perform a two-night stand at the Citi Wang Theatre with shows scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25. Tickets for each of the concerts range in price from $35 to $195 and will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Telecharge.

On stage, Becker and Fagen will be supported by The Bipolar Allstars (featuring Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, Jim Beard on keyboards, and Jon Herington on guitar), along with The Borderline Brats. With no new album to promote, fans can expect a set packed with favorites and surprises from their four-decade catalogue.

The tour will close in Connecticut with a performance at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Casino on Saturday, September 28.

Steely Dan’s last offering of all new material was 2003’s Everything Must Go.
