St. Vincent will hit Massachusetts next month as she tours in support of her forthcoming self-titled album. The indie rocker, born Annie Erin Clark, will perform at Boston’s House of Blues on Thursday, February 27. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $25 and $45.

St. Vincent, Clark’s fourth studio album and follow-up to 2011’s Strange Mercy, is scheduled to hit stores on February 25. Teaming up with producer John Congleton (Modest Mouse, Mountain Goats) again, with whom she collaborated with on two of her previous releases, St. Vincent recorded the album in Texas. She enlisted Dap-Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and frequent collaborator McKenzie Smith of Midlake to share drum duties.

“I knew the groove needed to be paramount,” Clark said in a press release. “I wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral.”

To give fans a taste of the new material, St. Vincent has released a pair of new tracks: “Birth In Reverse” and “Digital Witness” (streaming below).

In 2012, St. Vincet teamed up with David Byrne for a collaborative album called Love This Giant.
