Soundgarden have revealed plans to hit the road this summer for a full reunion tour. The legendary Seattle rockers will make their way to Massachusetts for a show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Sunday, July 10. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29 to $59, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Coheed and Cambria will open the show.

After a 12-year hiatus, Soudgarden’s Chris Cornell (vocals, guitar), Kim Thayil (guitar), Matt Cameron (drums) and Ben Shepherd (bass) reunited last year to perform a few shows including a headlining set at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. The reunion tour will kick off July 2 in Toronto, Canada and will also stop at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Wednesday, July 6. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $59.50 and $69.50.

In February, Soundgarden announced via a post on their website that they were working on a new album. “Over the past few months, we’ve been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together – exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden,” the band stated. “It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon.” No name or release date have been announced for the album, which will mark theĀ  group’s first since 1996’s Down on the Upside.

Soundgarden released their first ever live album, Live on I-5, in March. The album was recorded during the West Coast leg of their 1996 tour. The band released Telephantasm, a greatest hits compilation last September.
