Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, the band’s seventh studio album and follow-up to 2004′s Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, was released in January of 2011. It debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, marking Social Distortion’s first ever top-10 album and highest ever peak on that chart in their entire 32 year career. Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes also marks their first release with bassist Brent Harding. The album has been powered by lead single “Machine Gun Blues”.
