Snow Patrol have revealed plans for a stateside tour in support of their brand new album, Fallen Empires. The Irish rockers will cross the pond and perform at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on Thursday, April 12. Tickets for the show, which will also feature opener Ed Sheeran, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $35 and $39.50.

Originally released in Europe last November, Fallen Empires hit stores in the United States earlier this week. The band’s sixth studio effort was recorded in California and includes collaborations with R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Lissie, Queens of the Stone Age’s guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and long-time producer Garret “Jacknife” Lee. The video for lead single “Called Out in the Dark” is streaming below.
