Snoop Dogg will hit Massachusetts later this month as part of a month-long nationwide tour. The legendary rapper will play the Tsongas Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell on Friday, January 28. Tickets are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website and are priced at $42 for the general public and $27 for UMass Lowell Students who show a valid I.D. at the Tsongas Center box office.

The tour gives Snoop Dogg the opportunity to preview material off his forthcoming album, Doggumentary Music. The album, his eleventh studio effort, is scheduled to hit stores in March. Snoop has already release a pair of new tunes from the new album including “New Year’s Eve” (featuring singer Marty James and produced by Scoop DeVille) and “Wet” (produced by The Cataracs), the latter of which was said to be written specifically for Prince William’s bachelor’s party.

Speaking about his new album, Snoop said in a press release: “I have been in the game for so long and still have the same passion I did when I first started. I want my fans to ride with me on this one and know that I am so focused on bringing good music to them. It’s called Doggumentary Music because this is my life and I want to share my music, and my process of making it, with the fans.”

Yesterday, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa released their new collaboration “That Good”. The song will be on the soundtrack for their upcoming untitled movie together. Fans can download it for free here.
