Slightly Stoopid to hit Boston with Cypress Hill

Slightly Stoopid has revealed plans for a summer tour with Cypress Hill. Dubbed the “Legalize It 2010” tour, the groups will play a pair of shows in Boston at the Bank of America Pavilion on Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23. Tickets are on sale now through Live Nation for $27.15 and $37.15. Collie Buddz and New Kingston will provide support.

California-based funk rockers Slightly Stoopid continue to tour in support of their sixth and latest album, Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid, which was released in 2008. The band is comprised of Miles Doughty (guitar, vocals, bass), Kyle McDonald (guitar, bass, vocals), Ryan Moran (drums), Oguer Ocon (congas, percussion, harp), DeLa on (saxophone), and C-Money (trumpet and keyboards).”  Last summer, Slightly Stoopid toured with Snoop Dogg.

Cypress Hill returns to the road in support of their brand new album release Rise Up. Release last month, the album is the hip-hop group’s first in six years. Rise Up features an array of special guest artists, including vocals from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, drummer Daron Malakian from System Of A Down, Everlast, Young De, Evidence, The Alchemist and pot-comics Cheech & Chong.
