Shinedown have revealed plans to return to New England this summer as they continue to tour in support of their new album, Amaryllis. The Florida-based rockers will make their way to New Hampshire for a show at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on Friday, July 6. Amaryllis, Shinedown’s fourth studio album, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 after its release in March. The band once again worked with Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), who produced their last record, 2008’s The Sound of Madness. Amaryllis looks to expand Shinedown’s hard rock sound by adding synths, a 27-piece orchestra and a 10-piece horn section to different songs. It features singles “Bully” and “Unity”. The video for the latter is streaming below.

To accompany the new album, the band teamed up with Apple iBooks to release “FOR YOUR SAKE: Inside the Making of Shinedown’s Amaryllis”. The ibook is an interactive compilation of never-before-seen photos, videos, and much more, It can be downloaded through iTunes for $5.99.
