The veteran singer-songwriter will stop in Somerville for a performance at the Somerville Theatre on Thursday, June 21. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $35.

All Fall Down, Colvin’s eighth studio album, will be released on June 5. The collection of eleven songs is the first to be produced by her longtime friend and cohort Buddy Miller (Robert Plant, Solomon Burke). Recorded in Nashville at Miller’s home studio, All Fall Down features a plethora of special guests performers including Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Jakob Dylan, Bill Frisell, Viktor Krauss, Brian Blade, Stuart Duncan, and Julie Miller, among others. Colvin wrote or co-wrote eight of the album’s 11 tracks.

Along with the new album, Colvin will also release her memoir “Diamond in the Rough” on June 5. In the auto-biography, the Illinois native chronicles her more than three decades of touring, writing, and living to make music.
