Shawn Colvin & Steve Earle team-up for special tour

Veteran singer-songwriters Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle have announced a special run of tour dates together this March. The two will bring their “Songs and Stories, Together Onstage” tour to Massachusetts for a performance at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on Friday, March 28. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the venue’s box office and website for $39.50.

On the upcoming tour, two long-time friends and mutual admirers will share music from their extensive catalogues as well as some of their favorite songs by other classic songwriters.

Colvin continues to promote 2012’s All Fall Down. Her eight studio effort and first since 2006’s These Four Walls was recorded in Nashville with producer and country music legend Buddy Miller. It features several guest musicians including Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Bill Frisell and Jakob Dylan.

Earle is touring in support of his new album, The Low Highway. Released last April, his fifteenth studio effort follows 2011’s Grammy Award-nominated album I’ll Never Get Out Of This World Alive and is the first billed as ‚ÄúSteve Earle & The Dukes (And Duchesses).” The Low Highway‘s lead single “Invisible” has been nominated for Grammy Award in the “Best American Roots” category.
