Selena Gomez has revealed plans for a summer tour with her band The Scene, including a stop in Boston. The 18-year old popstar will play the Bank of America Pavilion on Thursday, August 25. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $49.50, are now on sale through Live Nation. San Diego’s Allstar Weekend will open the show.

Along with the tour, Gomez is working on her third album set to be released later this year on Hollywood Records. Fans can get a taste of the new material with Gomez’s brand new single “Who Says”. The video for the new tune is streaming below. Last September, Gomez released her sophomore album, A Year Without Rain. Powered by hit singles, “Round & Round” and “A Year Without Rain”, it has gone on to be certified Gold, along with its predecessor, 1999’s Kiss & Tell.

“I am so excited to see my incredible fans on tour,” said Gomez in a press release. “We’re working on a great production and set lists including some surprise covers. I want to make sure everyone has a fun time.”

Gomez, who was last in the area for an appearance at KISS 108’s Jingle Ball concert at the Tsongas Center last December, will also perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Wednesday, August 17. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $35.

In related news, Gomez will also star in Fox’s feature film “Monte Carlo” due to hit theaters in July. Meanwhile, her hit Disney Channel series “Wizards of Waverly Place” is now filming its fourth and final season.
