Schedule set for this weekend’s Life is good Festival

Returning for its fourth year, the Life is good Festival will return to Prowse Farm at the foot of Blue Hills in Canton this weekend. The annual two-day festival, which will once again donate 100% of all the profits to children in need, will feature headliners Jack Johnson and Daryl Hall & John Oates.

Other highlights for the 2013 Life is good Festival include The Roots, Amos Lee, Dawes and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Also scheduled to perform are Trampled By Turtles, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Good Old War, Delta Rae and Bahamas, while Massachusetts will be represented by homegrown standouts Gentlemen Hall, Lake Street Dive and Jesse Dee. Yo Gabba Gabba! tops the list of children’s performers, which also includes Boston’s own Josh & The Jamtones and Seattle’s Recess Monkey. Hometown favorite Ryan Montbleau, who performed with his band at last year’s festival, has curated live acoustic performances from various musical friends in the Life is good Coffee House, a brand new spot for the fall festival.

Tickets for the festival are still available through TicketFly and at the gate on the day of. Two-day adult passes are available for $120, while single-day tickets are $65. Kids (2-12 years) 2-day passes are available for $35 tickets (2-12 years) are $20 for one day, $35 for a two-day pass; kids under 2 years are admitted for free. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Life is good Playmakers, the action arm of the Life is good Kids Foundation.
