, Staff

The weathers looks to have improved just in time for today’s Radio 92.9’s 18th annual EarthFest concert. The free day-long festival will take place at Boston’s Hatch Memorial Shell with music from OK Go, Ed Kowalczyk of Live, Sponge and Atomic Tom.

After wining the “Boch Boston Bands” competition, locals From The Ground Up will open the main stage. The Radio 92.9 EarthFest will also feature Kids’ Planet – an interactive family area. Kids’ Planet will feature performances from Dan Zanes, Sarah Wheeler & Little Groove, RhymeZweLL, Vanessa Trien & the Jumping Monkeys and student performers from Zumix. Performances at Kid’s Planet begin at 10 am.

The full lineup for both stages with expected set times is available below.

Presented by Whole Foods Market, Radio 92.9 calls the free festival “a celebration for the Earth, showcasing national and local music acts, environmentally friendly products and local non-profit environmental organizations”.

With more than 100,000 people expected to attend the festival, concertgoers are encouraged to take the Green Line to Arlington Street or take the Red Line to Charles Street / MGH.
