Sarah McLachlan announces New England shows

After returning to the spotlight this past summer by resurrecting and headlining the Lilith Fair tour, Sarah McLachlan has revealed plans to return to the road for a headlining tour of her own. The Canadian singer-songwriter will play Boston’s Opera House on Tuesday, January 11. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $42 to $75, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Prior to her Boston show, McLachlan will play the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord, New Hampshire on Sunday, January 2. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $45 to $75, go on sale Friday at noon though the venue’s box office.. She will also stop at the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Saturday, January 1. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $50 to $80, are now on sale through the venue’s box office.

McLachlan will be touring in support of her released, Laws of Illusion. The album, her seventh studio effort, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 after is release this past June. It marks her first studio album of new material in seven years, since the double–platinum Afterglow in 2003. Laws of Illusion was produced by McLachlan’s long-time creative collaborator Pierre Marchand.
