Sara Evans has announced plans for a special show in Massachusetts next month. Just a day after the release of her new album Slow Me Down, the country star will perform at Boston’s Royale on Wednesday, March 12. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $18 with all net proceeds benefiting the Floating Hospital For Children at Tufts Medical Center.

Slow Me Down, Evans’ seventh studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Stronger, will hit stores on March 11. She co-produced the album with Mark Bright (Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood), who she last worked with on 2005’s Real Fine Place. Evans enlisted some of Nashville’s top songwriters while also co-writing three of the album’s eleven tracks. It features a trio of special collaborations with special guests Vince Gill contributing to “Better Off”, Isaac Slade of The Fray singing on “Can’t Stop Loving You” and Gavin Degraw adding harmonies to a cover of his own hit “Not Over You”.

Fans can get a taste of Slow Me Down with the album’s title track and lead single, which is streaming below.

“Making Slow Me Down has been a truly amazing experience,” explained Evans in a press release. “I had the chance to co-write with some of my favorite writers, work with Mark and some truly incredible musicians – and now hearing what we created gives me such an incredible sense of pride. Having Isaac, Gavin and Vince sing with me, was an amazing experience and they took those songs to another level. I honestly have never been more excited to have everyone hear one of my albums. I cannot wait to share it with everyone.”
