Santigold has released dates for a summer tour in support of her forthcoming album, Master of My Make-Believe. The Brooklyn native, born Santi White, is scheduled to perform at the House of Blues in Boston on Friday, June 22. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $25.

Master of My Make-Believe, Santigold’s sophomore album, will be released on May 1. The highly anticipated album will hit stored almost exactly four years after her 2008 debut album Santogold was released. The singer was happy to take her time with the new album.

“You have to grow before you can begin writing again,” said Santigold in a recent interview with Fact Magazine. “And that’s how the music grows. So that’s what I did. I was mostly finished with the record last year, but then I had to change labels, so I decided to add a couple of songs, and here we are.”

Santigold worked with an array of collaborates and producers on Master of My Make-Believe including Switch, Diplo, Q-Tip, David Sitek of TV on the Radio and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The album features singles “Go!” (with Yeah Yeah Yeah vocalist Karen O) and “Disparate Youth”. The video for the latter, which depicts her on a journey to find twin oracles, is streaming below.

Prior to the show in Boston, Santigold will also visit Rhode Island for a concert at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Wednesday, May 9. Tickets for that show, which range in price from $25 to $35, are now on sale through eTix.
