SafetySuit will hit Massachusetts this week to perform a free, all-ages, outdoor concert at Patriot Place in Foxboro on Saturday. The concert, which will take place at 6 p.m., is the conclusion of this year’s Rock The Plaza concert series.

The Tulsa-bred/Nashville-based rockers are touring in support of their forthcoming album, These Times. Scheduled to hit stores on November 1, the band’s sophomore release follows their 2008 debut album Life Left to Go. These Times features lead single “Let Go’, which was produced by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. SafetySuit is comprised of singer-guitarist Doug Brown, drummer Tate Cunningham, bassist Jeremy Henshaw and guitarist Dave Garofolo.

Prior to their free concert, the band will shoot a segment for “Totally Patriots”, Kraft Sports Productions’ youth-oriented, Patriots-themed television show that airs on WBZ-TV at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the football season. Fans of SafetySuit are invited to attend both the Totally Patriots shoot at 3:30 p.m. in Patriot Place’s North Retail Marketplace (next to Tastings Restaurant) and the free concert at 6:00 p.m. on the RTP stage located next to the Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place.

“SafetySuit will be the final musical act at RTP2011, and we’ll wrap up the 2011 Totally Patriots music and sports segment shoot with them,” said Kraft Sports Productions’ Robyn Glaser, who also produces Rock The Plaza, in a press release. “I can’t think of a better band to finish with. SafetySuit’s live show is a must-see, and all four band members have incredible presence, which is perfect for TV. This is a band with a thriving and continuously-growing fan base… This is a band on a lightning-speed trajectory, and we’re fortunate to have them at RTP.”

Saturday’s performance is weather permitting.
