Sade will kick off their first tour of the United States in ten years later this month. The English R&B group will team up with John Legend for the “Once in a Lifetime” tour, which will include a performance at the TD Garden on Wednesday, July 6. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $99.50 to $149.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The tour comes in support of Sade’s latest album, Soldier of Love. Released last summer, it’s the group’ sixth studio effort and first of original material since 2000’s Lovers Rock. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and went on to warn two Grammy Award nominations, wining the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals category for its title track.

Led by singer Sade Adu, the band features Stuart Colin Matthewman (guitar, saxaphone), Paul Spencer Denman (bass) and Andrew Hale (keyboards). In May, SadeĀ  released a greatest hits compilation 2-CD/1-DVD compilation packed called The Ultimate Collection.

John Legend is also enjoying recognition from the 2011 Grammy Awards, after winning three awards for his collaborative album with The Roots, entitled Wake Up!. Legend and The Roots won Best R&B Album, as well as Best R&B Song for “Shine” and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for “Hang On In There”. Legend’s last solo album was 2008’s Evolver.

Prior to their show in Boston, Sade and John Legend will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Sunday, July 3. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $90 to $180, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
