Rush have revealed plans to extend their tour in support of last year’s Clockwork Angels. The legendary progressive rockers will stop in New England for a performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Thursday, May 9. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $76 and $96.

Clockwork Angels, Rush’s 20th studio effort and first since 2007’s Snakes & Arrows, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 after its release in June. The album was recorded in April 2010 at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and from October to December 2011 at Revolution Recording in Toronto, Canada. It features singles “Headlong Flight” and “The Wreckers” (streaming below).

On tour, fans can expect a 3-hour set that will feature new material alongside greatest hits and fan favorites.

In April, the trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
