  1. I can’t wait for Roger Hodgson’s October 20 concert in New Bedford! I got my ticket the day they went on sale and have been counting down the weeks. I saw Roger, co-founder of Supertramp, last November in Lynn and this was by far the best concert I have ever seen, and you name them, I’ve seen them. I am so happy that he’s coming back to the area and that I get to see my favorite artist again. Roger’s voice is flawless and he still hits all those high notes with ease. In fact, he sounds even better today than on my Supertramp vinyls. Plus, I have never been to a show where there was such a connection with an artist and his audience. I felt as if I was getting my own private concert.

A bit of trivia – many people don’t realize that although Roger and Supertramp’s other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own songs. Every song that Roger performs in concert was solely written and composed by him, many while he was in his teens and before he even co-founded the band. Roger gave us Breakfast in America, Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Dreamer, Take the Long Way Home, Fool’s Overture, School, It’s Raining Again, and so very many more! No wonder fans, myself included, refer to him as the “Voice of Supertramp.”

If you are a fan of Supertramp, you’ve got to see Roger’s show. This is the real deal. You owe yourself this gift. Once you see him, you, too, will be planning for the next time. Don’t be surprised if you plan a road trip to one of Roger’s other October shows in the Northeast. I saw all the dates on Events at https://www.Facebook.com/RogerHodgson. See you in October!

  2. I agree, Eleanor! Do not miss the chance to see Roger on his 2013 Breakfast in America World Tour! His band is amazing and honestly sounds even better than Supertramp. I saw Roger twice this year and cannot wait to see him again. He performs each and every song with such emotion and warmth. Hearing some of Roger’s classics, I felt like I was a teenager again. See the show and I promise, this will be the highlight concert of the year for you! The feel-good feelings you leave with will stay with you for weeks, if not months. I believe Roger Hodgson is one of the most underrated artists actively touring. He hit the road over 10 years ago to share his magic and collects more and more fans of all ages at every performance. Often he sells out venues and has performed to audiences numbering up to 20,000 with his band!! And his performance at the Zeiterion Theatre validates the growing fan base he is collecting in the US.

How has Roger done this…… sometimes by great timing, people are attending a festival and hear familiar music playing in the background, which leads to needing to find it’s source……to Roger. This is how more and more people join the many who have always known Roger’s face/music, following him literally all over the world.

While many have attended festivals where he is playing and experience his magic for the first time….becoming hopelessly hooked on the quality of his voice, musicality and close relationship he and his band have with the audiences. Yes I am a huge fan……..

    Go……..travel to feel Roger’s gifts.
Check out his website for Roger has more US shows in October.

  4. Supertramp is one of my all time favorites. So happy to hear he’s coming!
