Rod Stewart and Carlos Santana have revealed plans for a co-headlining tour with one stop in New England included on the 18-date run. The classic rock legends will bring “The Voice, The Guitar, The Songs” to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Sunday, May 25. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m through Ticketmaster for $125 and $175.

Stewart continues to tour of his latest album, Time. Released in May of 2013, the album marks his first original studio album since 2001’s Human. It also marks his return to songwriting for the first time since 1991’s Vagabond Heart, with the singer writing and producing eleven of the album’s twelve tracks. Stewart was inspired to write new songs after penning his 2012 memoir, “Rod: The Autobiography”.

Later this month, Stewart will release Live 1976-1998: Tonight’s The Night, a new four-disc collection that spans more than 20 years with 58 unreleased live recordings that include his biggest hits along with select covers.

Santana will release Corazon, his first Latin music album on May 6. It will feature collaborations with ChocQuibTown, Lila Downs, Gloria Estefan, Fabulosos Cadillacs Juanes, Ziggy Marley, Miguel, NiƱa Pastori, Diego Torres, Samuel Rosa of Skank, Cindy Blackman Santana, Romeo Santos, Soledad, Wayne Shorter, and more. Fans can get a taste of the new material on Sanatan’s Vevo page, where he is streaming a pair of new songs: “La Flaca” (featuring Juanes) and “Saideira” (featuring Samuel Rosa). His last studio release was 2012’s Shape Shifter.

Teaming up with a fellow classic rock favorite is nothing new for both artists. Most recently, Stewart toured with Steve Windwood last year while Santana performed shows with The Allman Brothers Band.
