Rock & Blues Concert Cruises reveal first set of shows

Organizers for the annual Rock & Blues Concert Cruises have revealed plans for the first show of the summer series. Carbon Leaf and Enter The Haggis will kick off the series aboard the Provincetown II on Sunday, June 5 at 3 p.m. for a co-headlining show with a Celtic-theme. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the Rock & Blues Concert Cruise website for $30 (or buy 4 or more at $25). Fans can save an extra $10 by entering the code “Irish” through the month of March.

Also scheduled to cruise along the Boston Harbor this summer are the Ryan Montbleau Band. The 2010 BMS Band of the Year will perform on Saturday, June 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for $27.

The first cruises of the Rock and Blues’ 2011 season will take place on the Provincetown II operated by Bay Sate Cruise Company. Cruises depart from the World Trade Center Pier in the Seaport District at 200 Seaport Blvd. There is a cash bar and food concessions on board and ticket holders must be at least 21-years of age.

More shows will be announced over the next few months.
