Robert Randolph postpones Friday’s Boston show

Robert Randolph and the Family Band will not perform at the House of Blues on Friday night as originally scheduled. The show, which was to feature openers Rustic Overtones, has been postponed to Thursday, February 17. All tickets will be honored at the new show but refunds are available at the point of purchase for ticket holders who cannot attend the new date.

The band also postponed his Burlington. Vermont show on Monday, December 6 to Sunday, February 20. No reason was given for the two postponements. Randolph’s show at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday is still scheduled to take place.

Randolph and the Family Band are touring in support of their new release, We Walk This Road. Produced by the legendary T-Bone Burnett, We Walk This Road is the band’s third studio effort and first since 2006’s Colorblind. It features special guests Ben Harper, Leon Russell and Doyle Bramhall II.
