Rob Zombie has revealed plans for a spring tour in support of his latest album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor. The metal veteran and Massachusetts native will return to New England for a performance at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Thursday, May 8. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at noon through eTix for $42.50 and $50.

Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, the former White Zombie frontman’s fifth solo album and follow-up to 2010’s Hellbilly Deluxe 2, was released last April. Produced by Bob Marlette (Seether, Shinedown), Zombie has called the album a merge of his old days in White Zombie with the future of what he is doing now. Lead single “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Super Town” is streaming below. The album also includes a cover of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re An American Band”.

In addition to the new album, Zombie also released his latest horror film “The Lords of Salem” along with a companion book last year. After years of success with horror films, Zombie will tackle sports with his next project. He will write, produce and direct “Broad Street Bullies”, a film about the Philadelphia Flyers team that defeated the Boston Bruins to win the 1974 Stanley Cup.
