Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper will reprise the co-headlining tour they launched at the start of the year later this fall for a special East Coast tout. “The Halloween Hootenanny Tour”, featuring what its promoters have coined “the gruesome twosome,” will play the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, October 16. Tickets are on sale now for $45 and $55 through Ticketmaster. The Murderdolls will open the show.

All fans who purchase a ticket to the Worcester show will also receive free access to the Rock and Shock Horror Convention at the Palladium the same day. The convention will feature guests such as George Romero, writer/director of “Night of the Living Dead” and its sequels; actor Danny Trejo who has appeared in films such as “Machete,” “Predators” and “The Devil Rejects” and many other special guests.

The Halloween Hootenanny Tour will also include stops at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasviile, Connecticut on Saturday, October 15, and the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine on Thursday, October 14. Tickets for each of the shows are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $45.

Zombie, a native of Haverhill, will be touring in support of his latest album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2. Released in February, the album is his fourth solo studio effort and serves as a companion to his 1998 debut album Hellbilly Deluxe.

Cooper recently released a new EP, Alice Does Alice, that includes a complete recreation of some of his biggest hits. He worked on the project with long-time producer and friend, Bob Ezrin. Cooper’s last full length studio release was 2008’s Along Came a Spider.
