Rise Against have announced plans worldwide tour to promote their forthcoming new album, The Black Market. The veteran rockers from Chicago will hit Massachusetts for a show at the House of Blues in Boston on Monday, September 29. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $39.50 and $55. Special guests Touche Amore will also perform, as will openers Radkey.

The Black Market, Rise Against’s seventh studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Endgame, will hit stores on July 15. The album was recorded earlier this year, between January and March, at the Blasting Room Studios in Colorado with long-time producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. Fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore”, which is streaming below.

“Rise Against has always been a political band, but also a personal band,” said  singer and guitarist Tim McIlrath in a press release. “We’ve always had songs that have a foot in both worlds. This album is a lot more introspective to me.”

“I think there’s growth musically,” added bassist Joe Principe. “I’m excited that we can do that in 2014 and it not sound forced. It’s important that new fans know where we come from.”

“When you hear a song from this record you won’t ask, ‘what record is this from?'” concluded McIlrath. “This isn’t another Rise Against record part two. That’s a victory for me. We created something different and relevant, and I’m proud.”

Fans who pre-order The Black Market through iTunes will receive “I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore” along with the brand new track “The Eco-Terrorist In Me” immediately. Both tracks are also available for single purchase.

Touche Amore continue to tour in support of their latest album, 2013’s Is Survived By. The band’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me, was released last September. Recorded in California with producer Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, Smashing Pumpkins), it features lead single “Just Exist”.
