Rick Derringer will headline the 3rd Annual SuperGroup concert, which will benefit the Arlington-based treatment center Right Turn. After rocking the Berklee Performance Center last year, this year’s Supergroup benefit will take place at Showcase Live in Foxboro on Saturday, October 2. General admission tickets are now on sale for $40 through brownpapertickets.com. VIP tickets, which range in price from $75 to $125, are available by calling 781-646-3800.

In addition to Derringer, the SuperGroup 2010 will feature Elliot Easton (of The Cars on guitar), Ricky Byrd (formally of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Roger Daltrey on guitar), Barry Goudreau (currently with Ernie and the Automatics and formally of the band Boston on guitar), Chad Smith (of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chickenfoot on drums), Jeff Kazee (of Southside Johnny and Bon Jovi on keys), Kasim Sulton (of Meat Loaf & Todd Rundgren/Utopia on bass), Tim Pike (of The Soul Band on vocals) and James Montgomery (on vocals and harmonica). Richie Supa, a songwriter for the likes of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Pink, and Ozzy Osborne, will also perform. Performing as back-up singers will be Rosemary St. George, Erin Vulgamore and Hayley Jane. Ernie and The Automatics will open the show. Lynn Hoffman of A&E’s “Private Sessions” will host the event.

Alice Cooper headlined the SuperGroup benefit in 2009, while the legendary Chuck Berry headlined in 2008.

Derringer was most recently in Boston over the summer as part of Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band, who performed at the Bank of America Pavilion at the end of the June.
