Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto will team up for a co-headlining summer tour. The ska and punk favorites will hit Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Thursday, July 28. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $30. The Maxies and Rodeo Ruby Love will open the show.

Fans of Reel Big Fish can probably expect a set filled with fan favorites as the band continues tour in support of their greatest hits compilation, A Best of Us for the Rest of Us, which was released last July. Due to the fact that their former label Jive Records owns the master recordings of their older material, Reel Big Fish re-recorded many of the tracks for the compilation, which also includes four bonus tracks of new material. Earlier this year, the group announced that multi-instrumentalist Scott Klopfenstein (trumpet, guitar, keyboard, vocals) would be leaving the band to focus on raising his family. Saxophonist Matt Appleton, who filled in for him on the band’s 20th Anniversary Tour, and has since been declared a permanent member.

Streetlight Manifesto recently completed The Ship of Fools Tour, which had them traversing between Adelaide, Sydney, Athens and Moscow among other locations before returning for a final leg in the United States. The band have hinted at a new album on their blog, but have not revealed any official plans for a new release. Their most recent album was last year’s 99 Songs of Revolution, a series of covers from bands including Radiohead, Bad Religion and Paul Simon.

After performing in Boston, the two bands will travel to New Hampshire for a concert at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $20.
