After touring overseas for 2011, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to the United States this spring. The band have added a handful of new shows to upcoming trek, including a show at Boston’s TD Garden on Monday, May 7. Tickets for the show, which will also feature special guests Sleigh Bells, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $62.

The California-based rockers will be touring in support of their latest album, I’m With You. Released last August, the band’s tenth studio effort and fist since 2006’s Stadium Arcadium debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. Recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, California, I’m With You was produced by Rick Rubin, who has produced the band’s previous five albums. It has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Album category and features singles “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie”, “Monarchy of Roses” and “Look Around”. I’m With You also marks the first Red Hit Chili Peppers release with guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced longtime guitarist John Frusciante in 2009.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have also release the new video for “Look Around”. For the video, which is streaming below, the band performed in separate rooms during one take asĀ  four cameras simultaneously filmed all four in the round. Each room loosely represented the band members’ personalities and thus almost all the props and artwork in the rooms came from their personal collections. The band plans to release a special version of the video that will allows fans to control which room they are viewing at a later date.

The band were originally scheduled to start their tour of the United States this month but were forced to postpone the dates due to multiple foot injuries sustained by frontman Anthony Kiedis. Kiedis recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery.

Later this year, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be inducted to the the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2012 inductees.
