Reba McEntire has announced plans for a series of concerts this fall, including one in New England. The Queen of Country will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Friday, October 10. Tickets for the concert, which will also feature opener Caroline Kole, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $45 and $65.

McEntire, who simply goes by Reba, recently released a new single called “Pray for Peace.” The singer has not confirmed if the new track is part of a forthcoming album.

“Every time I watch the news, I’m just waiting for a story with a happy ending,” said Reba in a video on her website announcing the new song. “And unfortunately you don’t see those stories very often. I find myself praying for peace, and a better outcome for the world. ‘Pray for Peace’ is a song I wrote because I strongly believe in the power of prayer.”

Reba’s last full-length studio release was 2011’s All the Women I Am.

With a catalogue boasting 65 top ten hits (including 35 #1s) over four decades, Reba has sold over 56 million albums worldwide. She’s also won a plethora of honors, including 15 American Music Awards, 9 People’s Choice Awards, 7 CMA Awards and 2 Grammy Awards. In 2011, both Pollstar and Billboard’s Boxscore named her the #1 female Country touring artist, selling a combined total of over 9 million tickets.
