Rascal Flatts are looking ahead to next year and have revealed plans for more touring in early 2012. The country superstars will swing through New England on their “Thaw Out” tour and perform at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on Friday, January 27. Joining them will be special guests Sara Evans and Hunter Hayes. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $23 to $62.75, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The decade’s top-selling and most awarded group in country music continues to tour in support of their latest release, 2010’s Nothing Like This. Released last November, the album debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums charts. Nothing Like This features hit singles “Why Wait”, “I Won’t Let Go” and their Natasha Bedingfield duet “Easy”. Earlier this month, Rascal Flatts were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. The trio are also up for Vocal Group of the Year at this year’s Country Music Association Awards, which will be held on November 9.

Evans is touring in support of her new album, Stronger. Released in March, her sixth studio effort and first since 2005’s Real Fine Place, debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 and at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. It features hit singles “A Little Bit Stronger” and “My Heart Can’t Tell You No”. Evans received two nominations for the upcoming CMA Awards in the categories of Female Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for “A Little Bit Stronger”.

Hayes released his self-titled debut album earlier this month. The Louisiana-bred songwriter co-wrote “Play” for Rascal Flatts’ Nothing Like This album.
