Rascal Flatts & The Band Perry team up for tour

Rascal Flatts have revealed plans for a summer tour with special guests The Band Perry. The veteran country trio of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney will return to Massachusetts for a performance at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Friday, June 14 as part of their “Live and Loud” tour. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25.50 to $60.25, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

The summer trek will continue Rascal Flatts will continue Rascal Flatts’s promotion of their latest album, Changed. The band’s eighth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Nothing Like This debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart after its release in April of 2012. Co-produced by the band and longtime collaborator Dann Huff, Changed features singles “Banjo” and “Come Wake Me Up”.

The Band Perry are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, Pioneer. The band’s follow-up to their self-titled 2010 debut album will hit stores on April 2. The trio of siblings – Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry – began working on the album last spring in California with acclaimed producer Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele) but ultimately completed the album with producer Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban) in Nashville. Pioneer features lead single “Better Dig Two”, which recently marked the band’s third song to reach #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

Following the Massachusetts show, Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry will perform together at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday, June 15. Tickets for the show range in price from $30.25 to $60.50 and are available through Live Nation.
