Rammstein have revealed plans to return to North America in 2012. The Berlin, Germany-based hard rockers will deliver their first show in Massachusetts in over a decade when the band performs at the DCU Center in Worcester on Sunday, April 29. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $39.50 to $78, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of news of the band’s first retrospective release, Made In Germany 1995 – 2011, which will be available in North America on December 13. Rammstein recently released Mein Land, a new four-track digital single that features two new songs: the title track and “Vergiss uns Nicht” as well as remixes from BossHoss and Mogwai. Theiur most recent full-length album, Liebe Ist Für Alle Da, debuted at #13 on the Billboard Top 200 in October 2009.

Rammstein, whose infamous pyrotechnic-laden performances have taken place in capacity level soccer stadiums throughout Europe, spent nearly a full decade without setting foot on North American shores. They ended the hiatus in December 2010, when the sextet returned to North America for a sold out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

After the band’s performance in Worcester in 2009, frontman Till Lindemann and keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz were arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior.
